Dr. Michael Romain is an internist practicing in Austin, Texas. Dr. Romain specializes in the medical treatment of adults. Internists can act as a primary physician or a consultant to a primary physician. They manage both common and rare diseases. Dr. Romain provides comprehensive care and manages treatment with surgeons as well. Internists establish long-term relationships with their patients and incorporate disease prevention and mental health care into their practice.  

Along with Dr. Romain’s role at MD Cress Ventures, he serves as the Medical Director for Rainier Healthcare. His responsibilities include patient care, quality and strategy. He also practices as an Internal Medicine physician at Austin Diagnostic Clinic. He earned his Medical Degree at State University of New York Medical School and completed his Residency training at The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston Texas.  ​
