Chairman 

Michael currently serves as Chairman & Managing Partner at Rainier Healthcare.  He also serves as Chairman of MD Cress Ventures, a national healthcare firm that is engaged together with its  subsidiaries and other affiliates in a broad range of health care  related activities.  

Prior to MD Cress Ventures, he served as the President and CEO of the Cornerstone Healthcare Group which owns and manages hospitals throughout the country. 

Mr. Cress serves on the boards of several companies to include Zynex Medical, Rainier Healthcare, Linley Capital, Austin Healthcare Council, Sleep Research and Rainier Hospice. He also serves on several philanthropic boards to include Rachel’s Challenge and The Sandgaard Foundation. 

VP of Development

Paul Perez is Vice President of Business Development / Managing partner at Rainier Healthcare. He has over 20 years of experience in healthcare, primarily focused on patient care, business development, and relationship building. Paul received a Bachelor of Science / Exercise Physiology degree from Texas A&M University. 

 Prior to Rainier Healthcare, Paul was co-founder of Providacare. He served as a cardiac rehabilitation therapist for a private cardiology institution and St. Davids Healthcare system. He also served as a sales representative for a national home medical equipment company where he was in the top 10% of the sales force.

 Paul currently resides in Austin, Texas with his wife and twin boys. He enjoys outdoor activities, sports and spending time with the family.

CFO

Parke currently functions as the Chief Financial Officer for the Rainier Healthcare portfolio of companies, as well as serving as the CFO for the healthcare focused private equity firm MDCress Ventures. With his work he aims to revolutionize the healthcare industry through an increased focus on the interconnectivity of the different post-acute care settings, as well as a focus on compassionate, community driven, value-based clinical care.

A native Austinite, Parke received a dual degree in finance and biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin before beginning his career in the Central Texas healthcare and investment industries. Parke is a regular volunteer at Learning Ally, an Austin-based non-profit that provides support for dyslexic and vision impaired individuals, Art From the Streets, a local nonprofit wherein area homeless form a pathway to self-determination through the pursuit of their art, as well as serving as a dog runner/walker and general volunteer for the locally based Austin Pets Alive.

Director of Nursing

Susan currently functions as the Director of Nursing for Rainier Healthcare. She has been a RN for over 25 years and has been in the home health industry for over 15 years. Prior to Rainier, Susan had served in the Navy Nursing Corp and has been in nursing leadership for the last ten years. 

Outside of Rainier, Susan has three children and three grandchildren. She loves to travel and to spend time with her family. 

Operations Manager

Colin is responsible for operations and supports the respiratory wing of Rainier Healthcare and works directly with the equipment technicians and respiratory therapists to provide the best care for Rainier's patients.  For the past twelve years, he has been with Rainier Healthcare with different roles throughout his tenure. 

In his personal life, Colin enjoys spelunking, collecting old, commemorative glassware and riding on busses/

Patient Care Coordinator

Jessica has been with Rainier Healthcare since April of 2021. As the Patient Care Coordinator, she manages the patient's clinical records and assist with Medicare billing. 

What she enjoy the most about working at Rainier Healthcare is how much of a difference Rainier makes in our client's day to day lives and the positive impact we make on our clients. Before joining Rainier healthcare in 2021, Jessica was employed as the rehabilitation tech at Querencia Senior Living Facility where she would assist the physical, occupational and speech therapist under their supervision as well as managing resident records. There she was able to develop her hospitality skills, communication, organization skills and acquire her customer service training. 

During her leisure time she enjoys spending time with her son as well as her loved ones. Jessica also enjoys trying new eateries and exploring the green belts around Austin.
